Spire Coast · Process
Six stages. You always know what’s next.
Every engagement runs through the same stages, in order. No mystery process, no surprise invoices. The portal is the shared source of truth from the intake form through launch and beyond.
§ 01 · Stage 01
Intake form
A short, structured form at /contact. About ten minutes. We use it to shape the discovery call so we're not starting from zero.
You provide
- A short description of the business and what you want to solve
- Which services you're considering (even 'not sure yet' is fine)
- Timing and rough budget range
You get
- Confirmation that we got it
- A link to book the discovery call
- A note if we're not the right team — before the call, not after
§ 02 · Stage 02
Discovery call
Thirty to seventy minutes depending on services selected. Recorded with your consent. We've read your intake form beforehand, so we spend the call understanding the business.
You provide
- 30–70 minutes on a video call
- Consent to record (it makes the plan noticeably better)
- Names of anyone who needs to weigh in on the plan
You get
- A recording and transcript saved in your portal
- A written summary of what we heard
- A clear timeline to expect the plan
§ 03 · Stage 03
Written plan
Delivered in the portal. Three meaningfully different directions per selected service — not three color variations of the same idea. You pick a direction; we refine.
You provide
- Time to read the plan (usually a few days)
- Feedback on which direction(s) resonate
- Any clarifying questions we should answer live
You get
- Three directions per service line, in writing
- Plain-English trade-offs for each
- A fixed price and timeline once a direction is picked
§ 04 · Stage 04
Proposal, contract, deposit
Once a direction is picked, we convert the plan into a proposal with scope, milestones, and terms. Signing the MSA and SOW and paying fifty percent kicks off the build.
You provide
- Signature on the MSA + SOW
- Fifty percent deposit per the SOW
- Credentials and brand assets uploaded to the portal
You get
- A written proposal with scope, milestones, and terms
- A signed MSA + SOW — yours to keep
- A kickoff date you can put on the calendar
§ 05 · Stage 05
Build, review, revisions
Artifacts land in the portal as they're ready. Weekly progress notes. A live review session when a meaningful chunk is done. Up to two bounded revision rounds in the first pass.
You provide
- Async feedback on artifacts as they land
- Thirty minutes for each live review session
- Clear decisions from each review (or a pending-decision note)
You get
- Real-time visibility into progress in the portal
- Weekly status notes tied to the plan
- Up to two bounded revision rounds on the first delivery
§ 06 · Stage 06
Launch + activation plan
Final presentation and production go-live. Every delivery ships with an activation plan: a go-live runbook, an ongoing-services offer, and a clean transition plan whether you stay with us or hand off internally.
You provide
- Final approval on the launch checklist
- DNS access (or coordination with whoever has it)
- A go-live window that works for your team
You get
- Production deploy with monitoring on
- Every credential, repo, and playbook transferred to your ownership
- An activation plan and an optional ongoing-services offer
§ 07 · A few principles that shape this
How we work, in four sentences.
Written beats verbal.
Every commitment we make to you, and every commitment you make to us, lives in writing. The plan is the truth; the portal is the receipt.
No mystery work.
If we’re building something, you can see it in the portal that week. If we’re stuck, we tell you in the status note before you have to ask.
Async by default.
Most weeks need fifteen minutes of your time, not an hour. We use the portal and email for everything that doesn’t require talking out loud.
Clean transfer, always.
When the engagement ends, every credential, every repo, every playbook is yours. Nothing is locked to us. The activation plan is the proof.
§ 08 · Start the process
The first stage takes ten minutes.
The intake form shapes the discovery call and saves both of us time on the basics. If we’re not the right team, we say so before any paperwork.
